Monaco: Luxury And Grand Prix Glamour

My mind was completely blown in Monaco . One moment you’re in Nice, and 30 minutes later you’re surrounded by luxury cars, grand casinos, and views straight out of a movie. This tiny country knows how to make you feel both inspired and slightly poor at the same time.
Getting There:
- Direct train from Nice-Ville to Monaco-Monte-Carlo
- Frequent departures, scenic route
- Book through Omni for just a few euros
- Bus is cheapest but takes longer
Pro Data Tip: Check your mobile operator’s roaming pack—EU roaming doesn’t work in Monaco for several operators. I bought an eSIM to play it safe and it worked perfectly.

Must-Do in Monaco:
- La Note Bleue (Restaurant)
- La Môme Monte-Carlo (Healthy cuisine options)
- Monaco Grand Prix (F1 Sport)
- Café de Paris Monte-Carlo (Terrace with lush overview)
- Larvotto Beach (Beach club)
- Avenue Mareterra (The crystal-filled street)
- Casino de Monte Carlo (Entertainment)
Eze: Medieval Village Magic

You don’t need a full day for Eze, but those 3-4 hours will be incredibly memorable. This medieval village perched on a cliff offers stunning views and that famous perfume experience.
What to Know:
- Wear comfortable shoes—cobblestones and hills everywhere
- Buy Château Eze gardens tickets in advance
- Combine with the Fragonard perfume workshop
- Perfect for lunch before heading to Monaco
Stay:
Château Eza For those special splurge moments, this luxury hotel offers an unforgettable terrace restaurant experience that is absolute perfection for celebrating with the girls.
Antibes: Sandy Beaches And Wealth

As my friend perfectly described it: “Only sandy beach and wealthy people live here.” Antibes offers the French Riviera’s best sandy beach experience, plus a charming market town perfect for exploring.
Villefranche-Sur-Mer: Port Village Perfection

This really cute port village offers everything I love about the French Riviera—waterfront terrace restaurants, gorgeous stair cliff footpaths, and beaches with fewer pebbles than Nice. The coastal walk to Villefranche-Sur-Mer is absolutely magical and I’d highly recommend it.
St Paul De Vence: Local Favorite (Car Needed)

While not easily accessible without a car, the village of St Paul de Vence comes highly recommended by locals for its authentic Provençal charm and medieval roots.
