Additional Seoul Tourist Attractions

Rainbow Bridge This illuminated pedestrian bridge connects the Han River’s islands, offers stunning views of the city’s skyline and provides a spectacular light night show. (Exact timing can vary, so it’s best to check local listings closer to your visit.)
Starfield Library This instagrammable known library is inside Seoul’s COEX Mall and a must-see for tourists who love all things books. The added bonus of visiting is checking out the iconic Gangnam Style statue located just outside the mall.
Bukchon Hanok Village This is the oldest village in Seoul city and a great place to see traditional Korean houses. My best advice is to just wander through its charming alleys, check out the cool shops or grab souvenirs from here.
Cheonggyecheon Stream This stream is a restored 11-kilometre waterway in central Seoul that offers a peaceful escape from the busy city with its walking paths and art. I highly recommend walking a portion of this between sights to enjoy a bit of nature.
Ikseon-dong This is another traditional hanok village that has now been transformed into charming cafes and restaurants.
Palace Visits There are a total of 5 palaces but I’d recommend the below: – Changgyeonggung Palace – They offer access to the gardens in the summer for an additional fee. – Gyeongbokgung Palace – Plan to visit during the changing of the guard. This Seoul Half-day tour includes the changing of the guard ceremony. Things to note: – Free to enter if wearing a Hanbok which can be rented for around 3,000 KWR. Rent your Hanbok in advance. – Some palaces are closed during the week. Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace and Gyeonghuigung Palace are closed on Mondays. On Tuesdays it’s Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jongmyo Shrine.
Seoul Accommodation Essential

Myeongdong or Insadong area – this is where more tourists stay as it’s centrally located to many of the top attractions. It’s perfect if you are only here for a few days and truly want to maximize on time.
My Hotel Recommendation
Moxy Seoul Insadong Perfectly situated in Insadong, this hotel boasts a convenient subway line just steps away, along with a well-equipped gym and a rooftop lounge. Nice bonus: The street in front of the hotel has a vibe in the evening with young Koreans dining in the various food stalls that pop up at night, which means you don’t have to go far to try Korean street food.
