During our recent Baltic road trip, my travel besties and I made a stopover in Parnu, Estonia, known as the country’s summer capital. We were craving a peaceful intermission between adventures for spa relaxation on sandy beaches. Checking into Estonia Medical Spa & Hotel, we pampered ourselves at their world-class facility, Spa Termid. When not indulging at the spa for our “Latina’s Parnu spa beach getaway,” we enjoyed the sunny Parnu Beach and enjoying post-spa artisanal pizza at Steffani Pizza. Though small, Parnu delivered big on seaside serenity and tranquillity – the balanced escape we needed before continuing our Estonian adventure in medieval Tallinn!

Sand, Surf and Spas in Parnu

Parnu Sights & Activities Not To Miss
1. Spa Day – Estonia Spa TERMID is an excellent spa location in Parnu. It offers an array of spa areas within the resort including a salt sauna and hammam. It’s open to the public with late night hours of operation. Super convenient for those staying at Estonia Medical spa hotel as it’s connected to the spa and included in your stay. 2. Wind Surf– When in season, Kolevant Ltd. wind surf school offers wind surf lessons and equipment rental. They also double up with a cafe that offers drinks. When not in season, it’s still a great place to see locals wind surfing and enjoy the beach as the chairs will still be out. 3. Building Street Art – This beach town has very lovely, colorful historic buildings decorated with murals that give Pärnu a charming and pleasant aesthetic that is easy to explore by foot. 4. Parnu Beach Promenade - Even in the non-peak season, Pärnu Beach Promenade is a must-visit. Think year-round tranquil relaxing vibes meet a scenic sandy coastline .
Parnu Eats

Steffani – Parnu is famed for its top-notch pizza in Estonia, and word on the street is that Steffani’s Pizza is the must-visit spot. This pizzeria brings both tourists and locals alike. As a Chicagoan with an Italian friend, we take our pizza seriously, and Steffani’s didn’t disappoint. The portions were ample, and the variety of pizzas made choosing a delightful challenge. While we won’t claim it’s the best in Estonia since we didn’t try others, it was undoubtedly perfect for our post-spa day meal. SONNE Cafe.Home.Art – During your stay in Parnu, pay a visit to SONNE Cafe.Home.Art, a recommended breakfast and coffee option that offers tons of healthy menu choices. This cafe in Parnu exudes a zen atmosphere with gorgeous decor, making it a peaceful place to dine and refuel in the mornings.
Parnu Mid Range Spa Stay

Estonia Medical Spa & Hotel Nice hotel with a good selection of breakfast, decent gym including spa facility access to “Termid” which is attached to the hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Floor lounges and lobby feel a bit dated but didn’t take away from the experience or stay. Check rates to book your Spa & Hotel stay.
