Estonia Travel Tips

Money Accepted: Credit cards are accepted in most places with many ATMs available if you do need cash.
Safety In Estonia: I would highly recommend the Baltics as a whole for a solo female adventure. Estonia is another perfect example of what it should feel like navigating a city and feeling safe.
Friendly To Tourists/Latinas: Estonia seemed friendly overall but I should point out that Tallinn, particularly Estonians seemed more reserved. Regardless, this didn’t detract from our girls trip and experience.
Length Of Stay: To explore Estonia like a local, I would recommend 3 day – 5 days depending on how much you want to explore.
Costs: Outside of Tallinn, Estonia costs are similarly priced to other Baltic countries. Tallinn on the other hand felt a bit more expensive compared to the other big cities we visited such as Vilnius and Riga.

Estonia Must Visit Cities

Tallinn

Tallinn, the final stop on my 2-week Baltic adventure, proved to be a captivating gem in Estonia. Nestled in the trendy neighborhood of Telliskiv, we stayed in a revamped sleeper train, adding a unique twist to our accommodations.

Immersing ourselves in the city’s history through a theatrical walking tour of the Old Town, we encountered welcoming locals like our Greether, Yuman, who enhanced our experience with their warmth.

My guide shares the essence of our 72-hour escapade, offering insights and recommendations tailored for fellow Latina travelers eager to explore Tallinn’s rich culture and landscapes.

Parnu

Looking for a serene seaside escape during your Baltic adventures? Look no further than Parnu, Estonia’s summer capital, where sandy beaches and world-class spas await.

My travel companions and I indulged in the ultimate relaxation at Estonia Medical Spa & Hotel, immersing ourselves in the rejuvenating treatments of Spa Termid. When not lounging on Parnu Beach, we savored artisanal pizzas at Steffani Pizza, soaking in the tranquility of this charming coastal town.

Whether you’re seeking spa bliss or seaside serenity, Parnu offers the perfect interlude before diving into Estonia’s medieval marvels in Tallinn.
