Budapest Food Guide

Karavan Ally – A ton of food trucks here. Try the iconic Chimney Cake, local beer and Hungarian Langos burgers here.
New York Cafe Budapest – Eat like kings here, stunning, perfect for lunch and beautiful violinist serenade while dining. Highly recommended if visiting Budapest!

Tip: Reservations are only available for dinner but visit during lunch to really enjoy the view. Additionally, the lunch menu begins at noon which is when I recommend you visit for a wider selection of Hungarian options.
Warmup Bar – Cocktail Bar (no menu, makes fully custom cocktails)
Bors – Nice street food option for a quick lunch
Szimpla Kert Ruin Bar – This is the original ruin bar and recommended the most by my “amigos” aka friends.
Konyvbar & Restaurant – Nice dinner option
Platos – Breakfast
Solinfo Cafe – Great for coffee & breakfast
Molnar’s Kurtoskalacs – Good option for fresh and delicious chimney cakes. (Included with Budapest Card

Tip: When ordering a chimney cake, ask for a freshly made one. It will be worth the extra wait, trust me.
Gelarto Rosa – Craving a bit more options aside from the tasty chimney cake? Check out this dessert option.
Getto Gulyas – Restaurant option for meat-eaters. Recommend the beef stew from here and book in advance.
Stika – Breakfast option
Chef Kebab – Come here for this Latina’s favorite spot for kebabs in Budapest. Seriously the best and juiciest I’ve had!
