Jewish Quarter – They offer a free tour of this neighborhood as well.
Shoes on the Dunube Bank – Memorial in honor of the people who were ordered to take off their shoes by fascist militiamen and shot on the edge of the water so their bodies would fall into the river and be carried away.
Budacastle District + Labyrinth – Historical area to see the castle, church, Vienna gate and the labyrinth once held Count Dracula and is now a museum.
Chain Bridge – Iconic 1800’s bridge. Cross to the Buda side using this bridge to be central to all major attractions on the Buda side.
Hero’s Square – This UNESCO heritage site plaza is in front of the gorgeous city park in Budapest. There are multiple attractions here including the iconic Vadjahunyad Castle.

Tip: Szechenyi Bath spa is very close by so it is worth the stroll here while heading to the thermal bath.
Parliament Building – Gorgeous Gothic style building. The best way to experience this is by walking around the grounds, hopping on a ferry and touring the Danube or booking a tour to visit inside.
